    I am very excited to participate in your meditations again this year.
    I pray several times during the day, but find that using your meditations helps me to be much more mindful when praying; the meditations help me to “feel my shoulders relax”.
    I can use this technique daily to feel more calm and be more useful to others whom I love and serve, and in whatever I am doing.

I honestly just lowered my shoulders and felt them relax as I read your words, so thank YOU for that gift. 🙂 I agree meditation really helps me to feel more calm and useful to others as well. Lately, I’ve been using a version of a prayer from A Course in Miracles most mornings, saying “God (or Universe, Oneness, etc), what would you have me do today? Where would you have me go? What would you have me say? And to whom?” It’s been a really wonderful way to start the day, and sometimes a visual will flash in my mind’s eye of something I’m meant to do or a person to reach out to. meditation and prayer are my JAM these days 😉

    These meditations are great. I had an issue within and did not know how to get it resolved. I meditated on a subject that was fitting for my issue (I wasnt aware that it was fitting for me at the time) and to my surprise my circumstances changed immediately.

    Thank you for annually taking the time in providing and gifting such a wonderful tool for mindfulness. I look forward to each January for its arrival in my inbox. This past year only a few months ago, I had a horrible health scare, very likely stress induced, and quite honestly forgot about your January meditation challenge. Such a nice surprise this morning to see it waiting in my emails 🙂

    • You can do it Diane!! Just take one step at a time, one day at a time, towards healing and health. When I’m lost, I ask; “what’s one small action I can take today to move towards xxx” (xxx = whatever you want, in this case beginning a healthy journey). Or, you can simply take a moment to appreciate 3 ways that you’re ALREADY beginning a healthy journey. For example, you’re here doing the 30 day meditation challenge – YAY YOU!! That’s already one action towards a healthy journey, so you can give yourself a big pat on the back for doing this. And then see if you can think of at least 2 other ways you’re ALREADY beginning a healthy journey. You’ve GOT THIS.

    Thank you for sharing your gifts once again! I am excited to take your meditation challenge this year as I did last January and loved it.
    While my mind does spin this time of year, inspired, w good intentions to focus on “change” making things “better”… My business, relationships and health… Meditation and just being in the moment is such a wonderful balance with the “action” I yearn for.
