Vanessa, I have been meditating for years and this was fantastic. Gentle, accepting, kind, and asking us to notice the β€œI” who is having the thoughts. Thank you!

  • Karen says:

I’ve started my first day on the second day and looking forward to catching up for day three tomorrow. The meditation and expended was exactly what I needed this morning. Thank you!

  • courtney says:

I love how I was pointed to this site….I can’t even tell you how. I am the one currently enrolled in a course of finding your purpose. I’ve been the Silicon Valley madness furthering other people’s dreams. The shadow artist, the back round singer, the one behind, not knowing or fearing stepping into my own. Just last week, I realized this course is all left brained, masculine. I need my heart involved! This is exactly what was missing! I am going to incorporate both. But, I will start with this heart connection. Thank you Vanessa!

  • Trisha says:

  • Donna says:

Thank you, I had a hard time as my hubby is terrible ill and yes my mind was all over the place but I believe in time this will help me a lot.

    • I’m sad to hear about your hubby Donna. When my mom was going through cancer, I found I had to do a lot to ground myself and give myself compassion or I got so depleted as a caregiver. I hope this meditation challenge gives you a place to rest and feel a little bit of calm in the storm.

  • shari says:

I put meditation down as a task I’d like to delegate I’m suppose to do it every morning for 3mins but I don’t do it as often as I should. This email came at the perfect time. Because it’s a 30day challenge so I’m more eagered to delegate these 5 min meditation guidings

    • At first I thought you were making a joke about “delegating” meditation to someone else…haha. That would be kind of funny to hire someone to meditate on your behalf πŸ˜‰ Glad you’re making the time for the practice Shari.

  • Carol+Fairbanks says:

Thanks for supporting me in meditating!

  • Carol Fairbanks says:

    Just what I need! Thanks!

the background music was very soothing and relaxing. it was a little hard to consentrate. it did not seem like it lasted for five minutes. overall, I enjoyed it.

That was a wonderful start to my day. Ioved the “guided” part, it was very helpful. I actually did it a second time!

  • Jane Roundtree says:

I really needed this meditation today! Thank you for your challenges. They help me release what I need to let go of and remember to focus on the good in life.

  • Veronica says:

    Starting late but starting nevertheless!

  • Amy Bella-Rose says:

Yes, is a everyday for ever challenge just to see what is without judgement, to see just the way it is.

    • Vanessa Loder says:

Yes, I agree Amy, and all the more reason to cultivate observing without judgment during meditation. It’s a great way to start to quiet our inner critic.

  • Mitch Greenwald says:

Very nice but I experience my body twitching often as a feeling of not being comfortable (although I am). Such a short period of time but seems like an hour πŸ™‚ Thank you

    • Vanessa Loder says:

It’s normal to experience all kinds of things when we first sit still and get quiet – and just remember, you’re doing it!! Nice work Mitch!

  • Helen says:

Thank you. A lovely way to start the next phase.
