Thank you, Vanessa Such a lovely and simple meditation, though I found it difficult to come up with 3 things I am grateful for in myself. The quote about “shrinking myself….” so resonated with me. I will be journaling about this today. Thanks for a bright start to today!

Very important meditation today. finding things to appreciate about yourself can be hard when your not in a great head space. But so important to try.

Thank you for this gratitude meditation . I was interested to note that when I felt gratitude for those in my life that care for me I became teary. I think I need to remember to be grateful for myself also

  • Avatar photo Karen says:

Love the inspirational quotes and wishes for a self loving day! Thank you💜💜

As someone who is outgoing, people-oriented, and empathetic, I know my own worth – but am terrible at “acknowledging” it. This meditation, as short and sweet as it was, got me a little weepy. The statement that there is nothing enlightened about shrinking so others won’t feel intimidated around you apparently was something I needed to hear, today.

    I am grateful.

What a lovely and thoughtful meditation. Thank you Vanessa!

  • Avatar photo Karen says:

Thanks for helping me look at all the things and actions and people in my life that bring me comfort and happiness

    • You’re so welcome Karen! It feels so good to remember all these things, I love helping other people experience it too. And I constantly need the reminder myself as it’s easy to focus on what’s not working and takes a little more conscious effort sometimes to notice all the good.

Thank you so much for this great meditation. It’s amazing when I started to think of a few things that you truly appreciate about myself how other qualities or attributes came up. And this even extended into things, experiences and thoughts that I’m grateful having. The cake was amazing too. I was fascinated watching it being made. 😊

I’m a day behind, but glad I got it in. I needed this. I had a hard time thinking of 3 articulate things about myself I’m thankful for, but did it! I’m not sure if I’ve even taken the time to think of myself in that way. Going to do it more. Felt inspired by the end and am ready for the day!

    • Yay Sunnie!!! Nice work. It isn’t always easy at first, but it does become easier with practice. I’m so glad you’re here. And don’t worry about being a day behind, you’ll keep getting the next day’s meditation on your own schedule.

  • Avatar photo courtney says:

I am greatful to the God who wants to meet with me in my heart temple. Always safe, always happy to meet with me. I appreciate my willingness to do this! I appreciate my legs. (my sister had hers cut off due to her eating disorder). I appreciate my ability to learn and seek truth and clarity. I appreciate my ability to calm my little wounded kid who fears giving up control. I appreciate this journey of moving from control to trust in the goodness of a God who loves me all the time, in whatever state I’m in. I appreciate I am willing to be me.

  • Avatar photo Lisa says:

Inspired me to write after meditation. It came to me that the 3 things I’m grateful for – 3 things most present when I am mindful – when added together equal JOY. I’m grateful for this awakening. Thank you.

  • Avatar photo Linda says:

  • Avatar photo kristl says:

Thankful for the reminder to be grateful for our own good qualities. It often seems easier to notice myself doing wrong instead of right. Going to look at myself differently today!

    • Yay! So glad to hear it. Yes, our brains are wired to focus on what’s wrong vs what’s right, which is why it’s so important to consciously train our minds to focus on the good. 🙂

  • Avatar photo Leslie says:

This is one of my favorite meditations you have shared. Sometimes we are so busy being busy, we don’t appreciate the things we are capable of accomplishing.

  • Avatar photo Cheryl says:

A fine way to start the day, with gratitude.

  • Avatar photo Ndangano says:
