Thank you Vanessa for this beautiful and deeply moving practice. I actually got into feeling wonderful when saying the words to myself. An unusual thing for me. 🙂
Oh so lovely to hear that you found this one helpful to you Maureen!
So excited to hear what you think of the rest!
Hi Vanessa,
It’s my forth day, l am feeling lighter energetic to do things, above all l am beginning to listen to my body noticing things that matter most to me and haven’t been paying attention to.
Thank you.
Yay! That’s so wonderful Millicent. How great that you’re beginning to listen to your body and what matters most to you…you have all the answers inside! It’s just a matter of quieting the mind enough to hear what the body is telling you. 🙂
Yay! That’s wonderful Millicent, thank you for sharing. 🙂
Had to listen to it again today. So powerful! Piano in background just lifts you to deep meditation! Thank you.
Thank you Rosalie, I’m so glad to hear it!
Wonderful to start my day
Thanks Karen!
Oh how I loved this one. It felt so good and I feel lighter and more connected to me and my loved one. Thank you for using your gifts!
Yay! So happy to hear that Erin.
That felt sooooo good!
Yeeeeesssss!!! Isn’t it amazing how quickly we can generate these positive emotions with not too much effort?!
Vanessa,
This is one of my favorites and THANK YOU for sharing your loving kindness with me this morning.
aww, thank YOU Shannon!
This is a beautiful meditation to start my Monday and get me back in the right place to starting back my meditation. Thank you 🙏
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks Charmaine.
The moment I heared I should turn the kindness to me I choked and sort of stuck. In my burnout a few years ago I learned I am harshly (?) critical to myself. This meditation is an eyeopener I still have some work/loving to do on myself. Think I will repeat this one coming days. Thank you for sharing these meditations!
Very calming and peaceful. I missed the 1st and 2nd day of meditation. How can I retrieve it?

Smiled through the whole thing…was able to picture my grandmother’s face again and see her loving kindness that she had toward me

Thanks Anna!
Great meditation! Thank you!
Thank you Robyn!
I found it hard to turn the loving kindness statements in towards myself during this meditation
Yes, you’re not alone in that Sarah. It’s often most difficult for us to give ourselves the same love we give to others. When I first started practicing metta (and still to this day), I found it much easier to send love to other people, even strangers and people I had a hard time with, than to myself. It does get a bit easier with practice, and that’s also why it can be helpful to START by giving love to someone that it’s very easy to feel love for, an uncomplicated love, like a young child or a pet, then once you have that feeling of uncomplicated love built up inside you, you turn it towards yourself. You can also imagine that child or pet sending YOU love, rather than you sending yourself love. That’s another great way to be on the receiving end and to make it easier if you find it hard to turn the loving kindness in towards yourself. Imagine someone who loves you sending you that love.
P.S. thank you for your vulnerability in sharing that you found it hard, you’re not alone in that feeling and I’m sure it’s helping others to read your comment and know they aren’t alone. 🙂
Very powerful. Thank you.
