I felt validation for my gut feeling that breathing actually helps handle difficulties. I have been practicing deep breathing since I learned it during childbirth classes 41 years ago. For 18 years, I have tried to motivate teens to use breathing to help themselves, but I was not sure why it worked for me, therefore, my intuition did not have the credibility of the science behind my gut feelings. I was a subject of ridicule like the teacher in the movie Clueless.

I was actually told by Marci Shimof that I needed to do some breathing exercises to help me relax. At the time she did one exercise with me. I appreciate the ones you did and spoke about and will add them to my meditation thank you!
