SThis is getting tiring.

Recently while facilitating a group coaching call, the women said things like;

“I feel like I’m in a holding pattern, an airplane circling. How can I do some things to feel like I’m continuing my life rather than feeling like my life is on hold?”

“I want to just get back to normal.”

“How can I feel like I’m moving forward with all this continued uncertainty?”

Many people are still working from home, or struggling to find employment. Schools are giving a variety of messages about opening in person or virtually. COVID cases are on the rise, at least in the US and there isn’t a break in sight.

Things are not returning to “normal.”

Spoiler alert: “normal” was an illusion created by our egos for comfort and a false sense of safety…and the ego does not like having the rug pulled out from under it!

Sometimes, [bctt tweet=”moving the rug creates space for your soul to come through.”]

What do we do with all this uncertainty?

Tend to your heart. Our hearts are hurting for so many valid reasons, and our hearts also hold the secrets and the key to our joy, our deeper needs, our comfort, our longings.

Tune into your heart, either through meditation or simply by getting still and placing your hand on your heart. Spend a moment breathing into your heart center, visualizing it filling with a beautiful violet light.

Ask yourself quietly, gently; “What do I need? What wants to happen in my life? What wants to happen today?”

Here is a new guided meditation to help you tend to your precious heart:

Each morning, or throughout the day, continue to ask yourself;

“Hmm, what wants to happen in my life right now?”

After you’ve had a chance to listen, I’d really love to hear what you thought of the meditation. Scroll down and don’t forget to leave a comment! I’ll read every single one.

If you have ideas or suggestions for future guided meditations, please leave a comment and let me know! I’ll be creating new meditations soon and would love to design some just for you.

May we all hold our hearts with tenderness and love,

Vanessa

P.S. I’m opening up some new 1:1 coaching slots!

If you or someone you know is struggling to figure out what your “new normal” is going to look like, or you’d like a little extra support during this challenging time, email robyn@vanessaloder.com to schedule an initial session.
